I-10 West reopens after crash closed interstate at Veterans Blvd.

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) - Interstate 10 westbound was closed to traffic at Veterans Blvd. for nearly 45 minutes due to an accident.

The accident happened on Thursday morning around 6:50 a.m. The interstate reopened to traffic around 7:35 a.m.

Congestion is past Clearview Pkwy., but starting to move.

There is no word on injuries or what caused the crash.

I-10 West is closed to traffic at Veterans Boulevard due to an accident. Traffic is being diverted to Veterans Boulevard exit. Congestion from this incident is approaching Clearview Parkway.
