NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) -It’s typical summer for the next few days with mostly just heat and a few spotty storms. There may be a few more storms over the weekend but the big change will be next week.
A large dip in the jet stream will impact the eastern half of the country. That will send a cold front into the Deep South and increase the chance for storms. In addition to the stormy weather, temperatures will not be as hot.
The tropics are quiet.
