NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) - Arch Manning may only be a freshman, and hasn’t played a snap in a regular season game yet, but he’s already turning heads on the prep football scene.
The latest example, Manning connected with Jarmone Sutherland on four TD passes in a scrimmage against Hannan. Manning was 21-of-25 passing in the contest.
Cooper’s son also showed off his throwing prowess in the Greenies’ spring game against Shaw. In his first meaningful work, Arch hooked up with receivers to the tune of three touchdown passes.
Archie Manning’s grandson won a middle school title in the seventh grade while under center. Plus, his Newman squad won the 7-on-7 Division II title at LSU this summer.
He also will suit up for the basketball team this winter as well. LSU legend Randy Livingston will be his coach.
Newman plays Sophie B. Wright in a jamboree this week, and they open with Lusher the following week.
