Twin Span reopened after crash shuts down westbound bridge
A crash shut down the westbound lanes of the Twin Span Bridge Sunday afternoon (Sept. 8).

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) - A crash shut down all westbound lanes of the Twin Span Bridge on I-10 Sunday afternoon (Sept. 8), according to the Department of Transportation.

DOTD announced the closure around 4:30 p.m. All lanes were reopened about two hours later.

UPDATE: All lanes are reopened on the westbound Twin Span Bridge after a crash.

Details were not immediately known, but drivers reported seeing a three-vehicle crash. It was not clear whether or not there were any injuries.
