Police: Lockdown lifted at two Slidell schools after possible suicidal threat

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) - Boyet Jr. High and Little Oak Elementary are no longer on lock-down after a possible suicidal subject in the vicinity, according to the Slidell Police Department.

In a Facebook post, the police dept. says all children are safe due to both the Slidell Police Department and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office surrounding the area.

There is no immediate threat to the schools.
