NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) -Many areas across southeast Louisiana and coastal Mississippi saw freezing temperatures last night. With lots of sun, high will rebound a bit into the lower 50s. Later today into tonight a disturbance riding in the northern Gulf will bring a chance of spotty cold showers Thursday.
Behind the low, more cool and dry air will move in for the weekend. Temperatures will stay below normal into the early part of next week.
Some light freezes are possible north of the lake this weekend, but hard freezes are not expected.
