WATCH: NOPD searching for suspect in South Rampart Street shooting

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) - NOPD detectives are searching the suspect for a shooting that occurred on Dec. 15 in the 600 block of South Rampart Street.

At around 2 a.m., the victim was walking his dog when the shooting suspect approached him and demanded his belongings. Although the victim complied, the suspect shot him in the back of the leg as he attempted to run away.
