HAMMOND, La. (WVUE) -An early morning fire destroyed a home in Hammond.

The Hammond Fire Dept. says around 3:30 Sunday morning, firefighters responded to a home off Wardline Road.

Upon arrival they found a house fully involved with fire. The house was under renovation and unoccupied at the time. The fire is now out and under investigation by the Hammond Fire Prevention Bureau.

No injuries have been reported.
