Man killed in early morning car crash

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) -A car crash killed man in his 60′s early Monday morning on Interstate 10 near Loyola Drive., according to the Kenner Police Dept.
The crash happened around 5 a.m. on the interstate, but the vehicle went through a fence and ended up at 29th and Tupelo Street in a Kenner neighborhood.
The driver, who has not been identified, was the only person in the car.

Police say the cause of the accident is unknown, but alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
Emergency crews have towed the car away and traffic delays are improving heading into Metairie.
