NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) - One of the two veteran American astronauts onboard Space-X’s new Crew Dragon is a Tulane University graduate.

According to NASA’s website, New York native, Douglas Hurley holds a civil engineering degree from Tulane.

Before joining NASA, he was a fighter and test pilot in the US Marine Corps. Now, he was logged more than 680 hours in space.
