I-10 in eastern New Orleans reopens after vehicle fire

NEW ORLEANS, (WVUE) - Interstate 10 headed east was closed Sunday morning after a vehicle fire. The fire happened around 11 a.m.

There is no word on injuries,

All lanes were opened on I-10 East at Morrison Rd. around noon. Congestion from this incident reached the High Rise Bridge.

Heavy traffic remained an issue into the early afternoon.
