SLIDELL, La. (WVUE) - The St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 says a person drove into a bank Friday morning leaving one person injured.

According to a Facebook post, the vehicle drove into the Hancock/Whitney Bank located on East Gause Boulevard in Slidell.

We are on the scene of a vehicle accident where someone accidentally drove into the Hancock/Whitney Bank on East Gause. One person was transported to the hospital. #SlidellFire

One person was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

What caused the crash is still under investigation.
