NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The cold rain is finally moving out but clouds and cold air will make for a cold damp Monday. Snow fell from Alexandria northward to the tune of 2-3″ while we just got a cold rain. Highs will reach the mid 40s but feel like the 30s most of the day. Tonight, temperatures will fall into the 30s across the area and could be near freezing north and west of the Lake.
Clouds will linger Tuesday but eventually break. That means temperatures will struggle to get out of the 40s again. Tuesday night could get extra cold with less cloud cover. Upper 20s are possible north and west of the Lake with mid 30s possible on the south shore.
Wednesday and Thursday look nicer with more sunshine and milder temperatures with 50s and 60s for highs.
Another cool down arrives for the end of the week.
