NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans Police say several vehicles were burglarized Sunday afternoon near the Superdome during the Saints playoff game against the Chicago Bears.

Police received multiple reports of vehicle burglaries in the 1700 block of Poydras Street.

Seven vehicles were located at the scene. An additional seven piles of glass were also found at the scene where vehicles were parked but left before police began their investigation.

During the investigation, two handguns were reported stolen as well as a Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office radio that was stolen from a JPSO employee’s private vehicle.

Investigators say there is no surveillance video available at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.
