One more extra cold day is on tap thanks to lingering clouds. The sun will gradually break out across the area today allowing some to get to the low 50s for highs, but many will struggle to get out of the 40s. Tonight, temperatures will fall under clear skies to the upper 20s north and west of the Lake and the mid 30s on the south shore.
Sunny skies on Wednesday and Thursday will have high temperatures getting into the 50s and 60s, respectively.
A cold front could bring some spotty rain Thursday night or early Friday morning.
Otherwise, we will be mostly dry, sunny, and cool. We’re looking at a nice holiday weekend ahead with seasonably chilly mornings and cool, sunny afternoons.
