NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Morning clouds are breaking up as sunshine returns through midday. Even with some sun highs stay cold in the 48-51° range. Tonight, temperatures will fall under clear skies to the upper 20s north and west of the Lake and the mid 30s on the south shore. Pipes will be fine but pets, tender plants need top be protected.
Sunny skies on Wednesday and Thursday will have high temperatures warming up a bit getting into the 50s Wednesday and and 60s Thursday ahead of another front. .
A cold front could bring some spotty rain Thursday night or early Friday morning.
Otherwise, we will be mostly dry, sunny, and cool. We’re looking at a nice holiday weekend ahead with seasonably chilly mornings and cool, sunny afternoons.
