Another cold front by Friday

Chilly weekend mornings expected

FORECAST: Wed., Jan. 13 - Not as cold today

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Thursday will get even warmer under lots of sun. Temperatures will reach the upper 60s and that will feel like a heatwave compared to the past week. This will be short lived as a strong cold front arrives Thursday night. Highs on Friday will retreat to the 50s but it will stay sunny.

The weekend will be sunny with maybe a few clouds on Sunday. Lows will be around freezing away from the lake to around 40 on the immediate South Shore.

It warms up again next week with the next chance of rain not until the middle of the week.
