NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Rain will break out Thursday night across the entire area. Periods of rain will continue off and on Friday. Severe weather is not expected but a few moderate downpours are possible especially north of the lake and across South Mississippi.
At least spotty light rain and drizzle will likely linger into Saturday along with cooler temperatures and lots of clouds.
A much warmer breeze takes over Sunday with even some peaks of sun. There’s a chance for another round of rain early next week. No major cold fronts though are expected with temperatures remaining above normal.
