METAIRIE (WVUE) - Copeland Tower Hotel in Metairie will soon be converted into apartments.

Vitality Living is expanding to Louisiana with the opening of Copeland Tower Living.

Through an agreement with Al Copeland Jr. and Al Copeland Investments, this partnership will transform the Copeland Tower Suites hotel located at 2601 Severn Avenue into an active adult living community.

The 95 one-bedroom suites (750 sq. feet) in the 16-story tower will be converted to apartments, and its nine meeting spaces will become common areas.

“This high-rise style living creates great opportunities for residents to engage, lead active lives, and live where they love: Metairie,” said Chris Guay, founder and CEO of Vitality Living. “Copeland Tower Living is in the perfect location and close to everything. We are confident that our mission of creating vibrant communities where residents, families, and team members can be themselves, live purposefully, and experience a profound sense of belonging is fulfilled at Copeland Tower Living.”

Copeland Tower Living will emphasize on-site dining with a bar and cocktail lounge.

The top floor will have a state-of-the-art wellness center and spa.

Copeland Tower Living is now accepting reservations for active adult living with plans to open mid-to-late summer 2021.
