NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A return to winter weather will last for a couple of days. Gusty north winds Thursday morning will put the feels like readings in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Highs Thursday and Friday will be in the 50s with chilly overnight lows in the 30s and 40s. A light freeze north is likely Friday morning. There should be lots of sun both days with just some high thin clouds blowing by from time to time.
Temperatures will warm well into the 60s for the weekend. Saturday turns cloudy with a chance for rain overnight. A few rain showers are possible early Sunday before drying out the rest of the day.
Cooler weather returns again for early next week.
