Mardi Gras 2021 shatters 122-year record

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Mardi Gras 2021 has broken a few records; the quietest, the cleanest, and the coldest on record.

Fat Tuesday’s low of 32 degrees dipped below the previous record of 38, set on Feb. 14, 1899.

Honorable mentions include March 4, 2014′s low of 42 degrees, 1986′s low of 40, and 1978′s low of 39.
