NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans City Council Street Renaming Commission has proposed renaming 37 streets and parks that honor Confederate officials and segregations around the city.
Notably, the commission plans to rededicate Lee Circle and rename Tulane Avenue. Jefferson Davis Parkway was renamed Norman C. Francis Parkway earlier this year.
