Irish Channel Parade, block party canceled for second year
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Organizers of the Irish Channel Parade say they’re canceling the 2021 parade and block party due to COVID-19 concerns.
This is the second year in a row the event won’t take place.
The organization is encouraging New Orleanians to “Shamrock Our Blocks,” inspired by the Krewe of House Floats.
