NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The City of New Orleans has lifted parking restrictions as areas of the city begin to see street flooding. The restrictions will go back into effect at noon.

Heavy rains early Thursday morning caused the flooding of several streets and underpasses.

Residents are allowed to park on the neutral ground but are asked to avoid parking on the street car tracks or block intersections.
