Picture perfect Mardi Gras

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - It will be absolutely gorgeous on Mardi Gras with a chilly morning and bright sunny afternoon. Highs will be near 70.

The warming trend continues for the middle of the week with highs well into the 70s.

By Friday humidity will be on the increase and temperatures will reach or break 80 degrees this weekend. There’s a very small chance for a few stray showers on Saturday and Sunday. Better rain chances are possible early next week as a cold front moves into the area.
