Zack: Sun, warmth and humidity heading into the weekend
Highs will top out in the low to mid 80′s the next several days.
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - It’s a rinse and repeat forecast for us as we get closer to the weekend, a busy weekend of events at that.
Sunny skies are set to dominate on this Friday and I don’t see much change coming to this weather anytime soon. Now high temperatures will be quite warm as we get to the lower to middle 80′s each afternoon. There is that breeze which will remain brisk keeping us from sweltering too much but still, it’s starting to feel nearly summer hot. If you’re attending any outdoor festivals or the Zurich Classic this weekend, make sure to layer the sunscreen!
By Sunday I do see a small chance for a few showers popping up during daytime heating. I’ve put the rain chance around 20% with a better shot at rain coming next Tuesday when our next frontal passage is expected. This next front won’t be much but it will knock our highs down just a tad and bring in some lower humidity for the middle to end of next week.
