BATON ROUGE (WVUE) - Fourteen workouts and the spring game, and it appears there’s no resolution on who’ll be the starting quarterback for LSU. So Jayden Daniels, Myles Brennan, and Garrett Nussmeier will fight it out come fall.

“The one thing y’all want to know about, we didn’t clear up anything with the quarterback today, we probably made it more difficult. Brennan was good today, right. He does really good things with the football. He knows the offense, he’s smart. He takes care of it. We talked about Nussmeier’s athletic ability, we talked about his arm strength. You try to coach him on the things that matter the most, and that’s taking great care of the football. He’s going to make mistakes, I make mistakes. He’s going to make mistakes. So it’s one of those things you have to be careful with a guy like that, that’s really talented. Daniels is really, really fast. Walker Howard has one of the strongest arms on the team. So I don’t think we cleared up anything there,” said LSU head coach Brian Kelly.

LSU opens their 2022 regular season in the Superdome against Florida State.
