Kamren was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
Her move to Baton Rouge came shortly after graduating from Long Beach Poly High School in 2016.
Kamren is a proud graduate of Southern University, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in broadcast journalism. During her college years, Kamren was a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
She was also an intern with 9Sports back in 2019.
