Randy Buffington

Digital Content Producer

Cleveland, Ohio

Randolph Buffington joined the Cleveland 19 News Team as Digital Content Producer in March of 2018. A native of Cleveland, 'Randy' is affectionately the baby of the newsroom.

Randolph attended Saint Ignatius High School where he played football, basketball and track. After receiving his diploma he attended Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH where he graduated May of 2017 with a degree in Integrated Media.

While playing wide receiver at Heidelberg he split time in the studio, hosting and anchoring his own shows in the realm of digital, television and radio. It was during that time he decided to trade in his cleats for wingtips.

At Cleveland 19 Randolph covers everything from sports to human interest stories.

Alongside his work with WOIO Randolph has a digital show in the works with a major network covering pop culture and sports.

When he's not at work, he's probably listening to funk inspired vinyl records or re-watching The Office.
