To be home in the city I love providing you a weather forecast is really a dream come true. Most meteorologists will tell you their interest in weather started at a young age
and I was no different. Growing up on the West Bank, I can't remember a time in my life I didn't love everything about the weather.
From being in grade school during the May 95' flood to spending my high school years going through hurricanes Ivan and Katrina, I was destined to be a meteorologist. After becoming a graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School, I went on to obtain a degree in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
A week after graduation I was off to my first job in television, KPLC-TV in Lake Charles. Staying in my home state as I started my career kept me forecasting our local climate and more importantly hurricanes. After a few years in Lake Charles, I found my way back to New Orleans just in time to land right here at FOX 8.
You can catch me on FOX 8 Morning Edition every weekend on Saturday and Sunday. I also love to share my weather and science knowledge in our Tracking the Science segments which air most weeks Wednesday thru Friday during the 8 and 9 o'clock hours of FOX 8 Morning Edition.
When I'm not looking at the latest weather models, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our dog Buster. We love everything about being home including the fishing, the crawfish and the festivals. Of course, I'm also an avid Saints and Pelicans fan. If you ever see us around town, make sure to say hi!
