An unidentified female body was discovered on Wednesday on the outskirts east of Ponchatoula. Authorities are trying to identify the victim by a distinct tattoo on her left forearm that depicts two jester masks with a script that says “Smile Now, Cry Later”, Travis said.
21st Judicial District Court Public Information Officer Claire LeBlanc said that Larry Broadway, Jr., 23, was sentenced to 25 years with the Dept. of Corrections and that time is to be served without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence.
At around 3:08 a.m., two unknown men exited the pictured vehicle’s rear passenger side door and robbed the victims at gunpoint in the 1000 block of Saint Ann Street. The suspects returned to the vehicle and fled east on Burgundy Street.
The NOPD is investigating a homicide at the intersection of N. Prieur and St Anthony Streets. Initial reports indicate a male victim sustained a gunshot wound(s), and was pronounced deceased at the scene. No further information is available at this time.
On arrival, officers found the victim, Robbert Armstrong, 30, of Ponchatoula, dead from gunshot wounds, said City Administrator Lacy Landrum. Police arrived shortly after the incident occurred at 3:54 a.m., she said.
Bradley Abron, 43, has been charged with second-degree murder after turning himself into detectives this week after authorities began investigating the death of Darrell Amar, 50. The incident occurred Thursday at a residence on St. Paul Loop.

Tyrone Davis Jr., 27, was arrested around 10:45 a.m. and was charged with one count of obscenity, a felony, Layrisson said. Davis also had previous warrants for 15 counts of failure to appear in city court, police say.

Rivarde said that the person of interest is being sought for questioning in a homicide that occurred on Dec. 28, 2020 in the 500 block of Ames Blvd. The person JSPO is looking for is maybe in their late teens or early 20s.
