Seattle, WA - It is generally a bad idea to hand feed hungry grizzly bears, even if you're tossing the food from a distance.

Nevertheless, a few brave souls from Seattle took the challenge.

Fish throwers from Seattle's famous "Pike Place Market" took their skills inside the habitat of 800 pound grizzlies at Woodland Park Zoo.

The workers, in signature style, tossed delicious salmon to the big bear diners.

The bears seemed to appreciate the service and the salmon.

The stunt was part of a zoo event called the "Bear Affair and Big Howl for Wolves" which promotes wildlife conservation in the pacific northwest.
