New Orleans, La. - SMG Senior Vice-President Doug Thornton along with Superdome officals are still looking into the power outage that occurred Sunday night during the Super Bowl.
At this point, it looks like an issue with Entergy, who supplies power to the building. Thornton says there are two feeder lines that go into the Superdome and that there was an issue with one of the lines.
He stresses this had nothing to do with the half time show as all of the power used for that came from a generator.
In fact, Thornton says the Superdome used less energy last night than it typically does during a Saints game because of all the generators being used.
