Underground fire causes power outage in CBD, Warehouse District

New Orleans, La.- Entergy New Orleans is investigating an underground fire near Carondelet and St. Joseph Thursday morning.
Entergy reported about 1500 customers without power in the CBD and Warehouse District around 9:30 a.m.
A spokesman for Entergy New Orleans says part of an underground equipment caught fire, but it is unclear what caused the fire to spark.
Power was restored just after 12:30 p.m.
