NEW ORLEANS - Forty ProjectNOLA crime cameras will soon look down over the Leonidas neighborhood thanks to a $10,000 grant from the Westway Group, LLC.

The cameras will become part of ProjectNOLA's citywide network of high-definition crime cameras, which is now the largest network of its kind in the United States. ProjectNOLA's cameras have assisted the New Orleans Police Department with dozens of criminal investigations since 2011.

The check will be presented at a ceremony Wednesday afternoon at the Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church on Hickory Street.

New Orleans-based Westway is a provider of bulk liquid storage for agricultural products, oils and chemicals.
