Man found shot to death in car in Gentilly
NEW ORLEANS - New Orleans police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday in Gentilly.
Officers responding to a call of a "man down" at about 7:25 p.m. found a 46-year-old man inside a white Lincoln in the driveway of a home in the 3300 block of Piedmont Drive. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim has been identified as William Letman.
Police have no suspect or motive. Homicide Detective Travis Ward is in charge of the investigation.
