MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - You should notice fewer spam emails getting through to your inbox.
According to Google, 91 percent of all emails being sent are using some form of authentication standard to verify their credentials.
Since 2004, email service providers have been pushing for widespread adoption of authentication standards to make it harder for scammers to spoof addresses.
Most email providers have come up with standards on their own to crackdown on spam and phishing scams.
