A power outage in the CBD Wednesday morning was caused by a failed breaker at a substation, according to an Entergy spokeswoman.
The outage affected traffic lights and office buildings. Power has been restored to most areas, but the city says Union Passenger Terminal is still without air conditioning.
The Regions building was operating on generator power for a time, while other building were locked and workers were forced to wait outside.
Entergy said it is working to fix the outage in the remaining areas as quickly as possible.
