Hollygrove store robbery caught on video

Detectives are asking the public's help in identifying a pair wanted for the armed robbery of a Hollygrove convenience store. The robbery was captured on the store's video surveillance system. Mobile users can view it here, here, here and here.

On Monday at 8:09 a.m., two black males with shirts covering their faces entered a store in the 9200 block of Airline Highway and demanded cash. The store employee turned over $400.

Both suspects fled on foot toward Airline then to nearby Stroelittz Street.

The first subject is described as having a dark complexion and wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, a short sleeve white T-shirt, dark pants, white and black tennis shoes and armed with a silver and black handgun with an extended magazine.

The second suspect is described as male having a medium complexion, a light-colored baseball cap, a short sleeve dark shirt, dark pants and white and black tennis shoes
