Perched high above the globe in Earth's low orbit, astronaut Reid Wiseman looks down from the International Space Station.

He sees some amazing views, many of which are captured through the lens of his 800mm. On Tuesday, Wiseman tweeted a photo of New Orleans from the International Space Station.

The Space Station is currently occupied by a six person crew. On board the ISS include Flight Engineer Alexander Skvortsov, Commander Steve Swanson, and Flight Engineers Oleg Artemyev, Alexander Gerst, Maxim Suraev and Reid Wiseman.

The current expedition – called Expedition 40 – launched on May 28.
