(WVUE) - A report of a suspicious vehicle led to Houma Police discovering a truck that was stolen from New Orleans.

Shortly after 6 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a call pertaining to the vehicle in the 400 block of Authement Street in Houma. Officers found two people inside the dark-colored Dodge pickup, which was parked in front of a vacant home.

Police identified the couple as Joshua C. Glaspar, 28, of Houma and Michelle S. Fortune, 26, of Kenner, even though Glaspar initially gave a fake name.

Investigators learned the truck was reported stolen to the New Orleans Police Department, and arrested Glaspar and Fortune for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Glaspar also has several outstanding warrants for Failure to Appear and Probation Violations.
