NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Someone suspected of pulling off one of more than a dozen armed robberies to hit New Orleans in just days gets caught while walking down the street.

Investigators say an NOPD officer spotted Quentell Johnson Tuesday morning near the intersection of South Claiborne Avenue and Felicity Street.

When he realized Johnson matched the description of someone who robbed two people at gunpoint Sunday, he called for backup. Investigators managed to arrest Johnson without incident.

Johnson has been booked with two counts of armed robbery and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
