NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Surveillance video and gunshot residue test results lead to the arrests of two people for a shooting in  New Orleans East.

NOPD officers say Brandon Jackson and Karnell Dowl are responsible for Thursday's shooting in the 4600 block of Longfellow Drive.

The male victim showed up to a hospital saying he didn't know who shot him. When investigators viewed surveillance images from the hospital, they discovered he was dropped off by someone driving a tan vehicle.

Investigators found a tan vehicle with blood stains and two guns inside in the hospital's parking lot. That prompted investigators to arrest the driver, Brandon Jackson, and the other suspect. They say both suspects tested positive for gunshot residue.
