Gunmen storm Bayou St. John convenience store, flee with cash

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The NOPD is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating four men who wanted for an Oct. 24 armed robbery in the Bayou St. John neighborhood.

The incident took place at about 10:15 p.m. inside the Ideal gas station convenience store at 3400 Orleans Avenue.

Police said four armed suspects entered the store and demanded money. After the employee complied, the suspects fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

First District Detectives are investigating the incident and can be contacted at 658-6010.
