NOPD identifies two suspects in October French Quarter robbery

The New Orleans Police Department is looking for two suspects in connection with an October robbery in the French Quarter.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Wayne Dillard, 29 and Keyawana Collins, 38. The pair are suspected in an October 3 robbery of a 51-year-old man in the 800 block of Burgundy Street.

Around 6:30 a.m. that morning, video surveillance captured the pair exiting a blue Ford Explorer and then attacking a 51-year-old man. The suspects beat the victim, stole his wallet and then drove off in the Explorer. The victim was not seriously injured during the attack.

The Ford Explorer has Louisiana license plate number ZFT 031 and it's registered to Dillard.

The investigation is being handled by  the Eighth District Investigative Unit . Anyone with information on this case can contact the NOPD at 504-658-6080.
