HOUMA, LA (WVUE) - Houma Police say they pulled a vehicle over for driving with one headlight, but ended up finding crack cocaine.

Officers say they stopped the vehicle near Main St. and Howard Ave. around 11 p.m. on November 6. They say when they saw the passenger, 51-year-old Shelby Johnson, in possession of a beer, they asked him to get out of the vehicle.

Police say after patting him down and searching the vehicle, they found a crack pipe and crack cocaine. Johnson is facing several charges including open container, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of crack cocaine and obstruction of justice.

Houma Police say the woman driving the vehicle was issued a citation for driving with one headlight.
