HOUMA, LA (WVUE) - Houma Police arrest three people for drugs during a robbery investigation.

Officers say just after midnight Friday, a man reported someone stole his bicycle and wallet with an unknown amount of money in it in the 1200 block of Ellender Street.

During the investigation, police say the victim told them Joshua Chaisson, 31, of Pontiff Street, and another male came up to him and jumped out of a silver truck pointing a weapon at him.

The victim says after taking his wallet, Chaisson threw the bike in the back of the truck and drove off.

Later during the investigation, Houma Police say they found Chaisson at his home along with Brandon Martinez, 19. Investigators believe Martinez was the driver of the silver truck.

Police say once they arrested Chaisson and Martinez, they found a large amount of narcotics during a search of the home, including marijuana, synthetic marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine and two firearms.

Investigators say Devin Smith, 18, was also in the home at the time and was also arrested.

All three suspects face charges of possession with intent to distribute drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia
