Man, woman caught on camera stealing laptops from Louisiana Walmart

RACELAND, LA (WVUE) - The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office is offering a reward for a man and woman caught on camera stealing laptop computers from a Raceland Walmart.

According to Sheriff Craig Webre, a man and woman were caught on camera stealing two laptops from a department store. on Dec. 6 around 11:30 a.m.

Surveillance cameras captured the couple walk near a display, where the male suspect placed a single laptop in their basket. Later, the male suspect passed the displace again and grabbed a second laptop. The couple was later seen leaving the store with the laptops in a clear plastic bag, similar to the ones used by cashiers in the store. Except they had not paid for the items.

Anyone who can identify the two suspects from the surveillance photo above are asked to call Crime Stoppers Bayou Region at 1-800-743-7433. Callers will remain anonymous and could receive a reward of up to $1,000 in cash.
