One man arrested, another sought in Golden Meadow armed robbery

GOLDEN MEADOW, LA (WVUE) - Lafourche Parish authorities have arrested one man and are looking for a another in connection with a Christmas Eve armed robbery in Cut Off.

Already under arrest, Ryan Biliot, 26, of Golden Meadow has been charged with armed robbery. A warrant has been issued for a second suspect, Storm Dantin, 27, of Cut Off

Just after 1 a.m. on Christmas Eve, Lafourche deputies responded to assist Golden Meadow Police after a call was received that three men had just been robbed by two male suspects outside a Golden Meadow bar.

One suspect was armed with a knife, while the other was armed with a gun. Wallets, money, cell phones and other items were taken.

Dantin and Billiot were identified as suspects and warrants were issued for their arrest.

Billiot was found and arrested later that morning. He was booked on the armed robbery charge warrant, as well as three other outstanding warrants for contempt of court.

He behind bars on a $101,000 bond while Dantin, remains at large.
