New Orleans police look for package thief

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police hope the public can help them identify a man wanted for stealing a package off of a porch on Jan. 12.
Police said it happened in the 1400 block of Robert E. Lee Boulevard. At 11:47 a.m., video surveillance cameras captured the suspect walking up to the porch and stealing the UPS delivery. He then ran off.
Third District Detective Johnnie Carter said he believes the man is also responsible for a similar package theft in the 800 block of Polk Street on Dec. 22.
